The Caribu Eclipse is a 1200 Denier Synthetic waterproof ripstop polyester Combo Horse Rug/ Rainsheet . This Combo Horse rug incorporates a Nylon and soft can-can mesh lining (No fill). The can-can mesh creates a breathing space between the rug and your horses coat.
This rug is ideal for all seasons and can be used on its own, or use it as an outer rug and layer rugs underneath in the cooler weather.. A great design with quality materials and construction.
How is Caribu Eclipse different to our Alpine Lite Combos? Same great design but with:
- Improved Nylon lining in the skirts
- Extended Anti Rub Lining shoulder areas and now also in the mane
- Improved design in the neck, longer necks and more neck wrap in the larger sizes
What sets this combo apart from others?
We use an advanced 1200 Denier fabric with polymers. The hi-tech manufacturing process insures that the denier fabric works to keep water out - but allows the humid/moist air to escape out through the material keeping your horse - dry but allows sweat and moisture to breath out to eliminate chills. We also use a can-can mesh lining which significantly increases breathability and comfort - and is far superior to other linings on the market.
All Caribu Synthetic Rugs and Combos are rated to a waterproof rating of at least 3000MM - more than twice the minimum requirements. Our Synthetic Rugs have a breath ability rating of at least 3000gr/m2/per24hrs - so you can rest assured that your horse will be snug and warm in the worst of weather. Additionally all our 1200 Denier fabrics incorporate a Ripstop design into the fabric. You will notice we use a continuous run of fabric in the neck and body of the combo - no joins or seams in the neck line or back area to let water in!
